BOPP pearlescent film is made of polypropylene resin, calcium carbonate and pearlescent pigments, which are biaxially stretched after mixing. The granular CaCO3 masterbatch is evenly dispersed in the homopolymer PP, and many holes are formed when the PP is stretched, and it is these holes that refract light to form a pearlescent effect. BOPP film has pearl white pearl luster, can reflect more light, and its gas and water barrier properties are better than other types of BOPP films.
